On a hot weekend in Orange County, Coach Eric Johnson and his LAFC BU15 won the Toyota of Orange Classic on August 18-19. The team went undefeated over four games with three victories and one tie over silver teams. In the final game, LAFC beat Orange Soccer Club 2-1. Forward Christian Swart scored both goals. One coming on a head ball and the other coming on a penalty kick with about 15 minutes to play. Orange Soccer made a push late but the LAFC boys held on for their first tournament win.
