Accolades: 
Anthony played great in the 2 wins over this weekend for our U19 Premier team. He scored game winners in both 3-2 victories. In Saturdays game against Rampage he hit a 35 yard screamer into the top corner showing his ability to shoot accurately from distance with power and in Sunday victory over South Bay Force he scored an exquisite finish to win the game.

Name: Kayce Perkins

Team: GU19 LAFC (Hunt)

Accolades: 
The GU19 team defeated first place Arsenal in the U19 Gold bracket on Sunday. The team came out 2-1 winners in large part due to a magnificent performance from goalkeeper Kayce Perkins. She commanded her penalty area all game and produced 4 or 5 match winning saves to keep the score at 1-1 before the team got a late winner. 

Congratulations to Kayce and all of her teammates in helping her earn this award.

 

LAFC Cosmos Boys - Youngers

Name: Owen Freehling

Team: BU12 East

Accolades: Playing under the lights against the other LAFC, he got the team off to a great start. Showing great composure in the box, Owen brought down a cross in between 2 defenders and slotted it past the goalkeeper for the first goal of the game. This helped the team gain momentum in the game and was a turning point in the contest.
