- LAFC GU10 ended its 2009-2010 post-season play with a well-deserved victory at California Cup. Despite playing three games in one day due to rain postponements, the girls had enough energy to defeat FC Long Beach 3-1 in the final. The opposing coach told his players after the game that playing against teams like LAFC Chelsea “will only make them better.” Over the course of the tournament, LAFC outscored its six opponents by a stunning 25-4 margin. It won decisively against Pateadores and Arsenal in group play and defeated Real SoCal 3-0 in the semifinals. Congratulations to Coach Louis and his girls!
